What a fabulous local restaurant. We haven’t been here in a while but decided to go this evening and were so glad we did. We hadn’t booked a table but the kind team still managed to squeeze us in, despite the restaurant being absolutely packed. It’s always a good sign that a place is so busy and I must say that after we tasted the food, I wasn’t surprised at all. Fresh, super tasty and piping hot food - it was all delicious, especially the incredible naan breads straight out of the tandoor. I must also mention that it was superb value for money, poppadoms, starters, main courses and drinks for 2 people all for 59! A complete bargain and friendly, speedy service so we will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to all of the team for a fabulous evening

UPDATE: Following a not ideal first experience here the management went above and beyond to fix it. They contacted me following my review and offered to provide our entire order again free of charge. We arranged to take them up on this recently and the replacement food was phenomenal! Everyone has an off day sometimes and we clearly caught them on one of those days but the way they went about fixing it is 10/10 and they've created some long term customers out of us. Look forward to returning in the near future. Unfortunate experience trying the restaurant for the first time. Ordered based off the positive reviews, service on collection was really friendly and prompt. Once getting home I noticed we had one curry missing and a side dish was incorrect, being a 15 minute drive from the restaurant it wasn't practical to go back and change. The one curry we had left was quite bland despite being marked as 'touch hot'. The restaurant was very busy so maybe we just caught them on a bad day but having spent 50 for 2 people we were left underwhelmed.

What a terrific experience. Flavours were mild and tasty, and the service by each team members perfect. Very attentive but not overbearing. They were also able to take us in as a walk-in without a booking. A great second last night before flying out of the UK. We will return for another try and different dishes! Yum!

Had a couple takeaways from here recently and always been a great experience. Food's always great and the staff are exceptionally friendly even just in the brief moments of collecting. Good price and the restaurant seems nice too.

Went there for a family anniversary. Food was excellent, service friendly and polite. Also they were almost full yest we got served very quickly. Fully recommended

Outstanding service. We haven't been so well looked after in a restaurant for a long time even in places where you pay a lot more. Really good food and a friendly atmosphere. Great value for money. We will definitely be back : )

Our favourite spot for authentic Indian and Bangladeshi food. The team at The Rajdoot in Guildford are always so welcoming and go above and beyond, even when it’s busy. The food is consistently delicious and perfectly cooked every time. Highly recommend – five stars from us!

Our favourite takeaway place! Pre-ordered a complicated takeaway order for 12 - communication was great. Everything was delicious and piping hot - we all really enjoyed it - thank you Rajdoot!
